Marketing and Business Planning

Case study - Optimised website copywriting for Lipoxen PLC

'We were delighted with the website copy that Marketing and Business Planning produced for us.  Before they started on our project, we were slightly apprehensive about whether they could produce the technical and scientific content we needed.  However they made a real effort to understand our requirements and as a result of this the project has been a great success, with high quality text delivered to our tight deadlines.'

Gregory Gregoriadis, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Lipoxen PLC

Lipoxen PLC is a leading biopharmaceutical company that develops high-value, differentiated pharmaceutical products in the fields of protein drugs, vaccines and oncology.  The company was founded by Professor Gregory Gregoriadis, PhD, DSc, in 1997, as a spin out from The School of Pharmacy at the University of London.  In January 2006 Lipoxen was listed on AIM.

Lipoxen wanted new text for their website as part of an overall redesign.  They needed website copy that was simple and easy to read and that communicated the management, financial and compliance information that is expected of a listed company.  Lipoxen wanted the complex scientific content of their website to be preserved and enhanced to meet the needs of a technical audience.  They also needed a copywriter who could also advise on keywords as part of their search engine optimisation strategy and make sure that the resultant website copy was optimised.

Lipoxen were pleased and impressed with their website copy which was delivered to the high standard they required and to a tight deadline.  The new optimised copy has significantly improved Lipoxen's performance on search engines and Lipoxen have expressed their intention to use Marketing and Business Planning for future projects.
